It's up to a warrior named Liu Kang and his ragtag group of misfits to take on Outworld in Mortal Kombat... That's right the only way to solve your problems boys and girls is Mortal Kombat. Retro Vs. Remake 97: Mean Girls (2004 vs 2024)

An African-American (in the way Elon Musk is) moves to a new school, where she encounters a clique of girls called "The Plastics". Along the way she tries to join this group, she may lose herself in the process, but ultimately finds out the true meaning of friendship/being yourself. All this can only mean one thing... we watched Mean Girls on this episode of Retro Vs. Remake.

Retro Vs. Remake 96: Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead (1991 vs 2024)

For reasons, children of a single mother spend the summer by themselves after their babysitter dies. Are they able to survive... not kill each other (like the babysitter), and make it through the summer without mom finding out? All this can only mean one thing. We watched Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead on this episode of Retro Vs. Remake!

Retro Vs. Remake 95: Road House (1989 vs 2024)

A mysterious fighter is a damn good bouncer... so good he's recruited by a small town roadhouse to be it's enforcer, clean up the joint, and save the town from criminals. He makes friends along the way. He makes a lot of enemies, and by the end we find out if this hero is man enough to save the roadhouse. That can only mean one thing we watched Road House (1989) and Road House (2024) in this episode of Retro Vs. Remake!

Retro Vs. Remake 94: Godzilla (1954 vs 1998 vs 2014)

Underwater atomic testing awakens a centuries old monster from the depth. This radioactive beast terrorizes a city, creates havoc, and ultimately demands a military response. All this can only mean one thing we watched Godzilla on this episode of Retro Vs. Remake!

Retro Vs. Remake 93: Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) vs Wonka (2023)

A chocolatier destined for fame and fortune encounters children.... children who have dreams of a better world. In this world of pure imagination the chocolatier is able to make those dreams manifest. There's also a dark underbelly to this world that we explore in all iterations of this Roald Dhal story. We watched Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory and Wonka on this episode of Retro Vs. Remake!

Retro Vs. Remake 92: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (1966 vs 2000 vs 2018)

A reclusive green hermit has noisy and annoying neighbors who love Christmas. Well this green guy he doesn't like Christmas. He doesn't like it all... until he encounters a little Who named Cindy Lou and everything changes. Will he steal Christmas? Will his heart grow? Who knows? All I know is we watched Dr Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas on this episode of Retro Vs. Remake!
